In preparation for the functional weapon on my futuristic vehicle, I have begun thinking about how my weapon will work inside of UE4. Inside Unreal I tested out the "projectile movement" component on an Actor Blueprint. I used basic cubes and messed around with their physics when firing from the gun. For my actual weapon, it will be a charged laser shot. I will probably use the line trace feature and projectile movement without gravity. The shot will have infinite range but it must charge first. Here are the designs for the projectile itself.
